April Fools Day

Happy April Fools Day!

Or as my sister used to call it "April Pools Day"
April Fools Day started on April 1st 1700, although some historians trace it back to 1582, when France switched from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar. The people who where slow to recognize the change, on never knew there was a change, kept celebrating the new year the last week of March through April 1st. The people who where not aware of the change became the the people they tricked, and pranked. Some of the pranks include having paper fish stuck on their back, and being called April fish. Now you know some April Fools Day history! hope you all have a great day!
(There will be a post on Celilo Falls soon!)
